Terms of Service
Last updated
Draft. This page is being finalized. Business details in [brackets] will be completed before paid features launch.
1. Who we are and what this covers
VideoTouro ("we", "us") is operated by [Legal business name], [Business address]. These terms apply to the website and every tool, account, plan and feature on it (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
2. The free tools
- The free tools run in your browser and process your files on your own device. We do not receive or store those files.
- No account is needed. The tools are provided "as is"; they may change, and some depend on your browser's features.
- Some free exports include a small VideoTouro watermark (currently videos made with Auto Subtitles). Subtitle files never do.
- Keep a copy of your originals. Because processing happens on your device, we cannot recover files for you.
3. Accounts
Some features need an account (sign-in with Google). You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what is removed.
4. Paid plans, passes and credits
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Their terms also apply to the purchase, and they may show taxes for your country at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- One-time passes last for the stated time from purchase and do not renew.
- Credits for AI features are used up when a job runs and are returned if the job fails on our side. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and may expire as stated when you buy them.
- We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before the change applies.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
- You keep all rights to the files and text you use with the Service ("your content").
- Where a feature stores or processes your content on our servers (for example cloud projects or AI features, which are always labeled), you give us permission to store and process it only to provide that feature to you. We do not use it to train AI models.
- You confirm you have the rights to the content you use, and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- create or share illegal content, including content that exploits or harms minors;
- infringe copyright or other rights, or remove watermarks or credits you are not entitled to remove;
- harass, defame, impersonate or deceive people, including with AI-generated media;
- attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer our servers, or get around limits, payments or account restrictions.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. AI features
AI results (subtitles, transcripts, generated or edited media) can be wrong or unexpected. Check them before you rely on or publish them. You are responsible for how you use AI outputs.
8. Our rights and third-party parts
The VideoTouro name, logo, website and software belong to us. Some parts are open-source software, fonts and AI models used under their own licenses; those licenses apply to those parts.
9. No warranty and limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending, changes and law
- You can stop using the Service at any time. We may stop offering a feature or the Service, and will give paying users reasonable notice.
- We may update these terms; we will show the new date here and tell account holders about important changes.
- These terms are governed by the laws of [Country / state]. Disputes go to its courts, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
