Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser using your own device. Your audio never leaves your computer or phone.
What do dBFS numbers mean?
0 dBFS is the loudest a digital file can be. Peaks around −1 to −3 dBFS are healthy; speech often averages −20 to −12 dBFS.
Is the image transparent?
No. It uses the background color you choose.
Which files can I open?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and the sound of MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV videos.
Does it change my file?
No. The viewer only reads your audio. The PNG is a separate download.
