Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser using your own device. Your video never leaves your computer or phone.

What is the difference between flip and rotate?

Flipping mirrors the picture. Rotating turns it. A vertical flip is not the same as rotating 180°: rotating keeps left and right, flipping swaps them.

Does flipping change the sound?

No. The audio is kept exactly as it was.

Will it lose quality?

The video is re-encoded at high quality; the difference is very hard to see.

Which browsers are supported?

Recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari (16.4+). The tool uses WebCodecs, your browser's built-in video encoder, and tells you before you start if something isn't supported.
