How to cut a part out of the middle of a video

Trimming usually keeps one part. To delete a mistake in the middle, use "Cut it out": the tool removes your selection and joins what comes before and after it.

Step by step

   Open the Video Trimmer

   Choose your video.

   Choose "Cut it out"

   Under Selection pick Cut it out.

   Mark the part to remove

   Drag the handles on the timeline, or type Start and End. Play the selection to check it.

   Export

   Press Trim video. The new length is shown before you start.

Tips

• To remove several parts, use the Online Video Editor: split at each cut and delete the pieces.
• Use "Keep it" instead when you only want one part.
