Updated · about 4 minutes
The Add Text tool works like a design app on top of your video: drag the text where you want it, resize and rotate it, and set when it shows up.

- 2
Type and place it
Type your words, then drag the box on the preview. Pull a corner to resize and the round handle to rotate.
- 3
Style it
Pick a one-click style (Bold outline, Box, Subtitle…) or choose a font, weight, color, outline and shadow yourself.
- 4
Set the timing
On the timeline, drag the text bar to choose when it appears and disappears, and pick an in/out animation.
- 5
Export
Press the export button and download your MP4 or WebM.
Tips
- Keep text away from the edges on vertical videos: app buttons cover them.
- Use Ctrl+Z to undo any change.
Questions
Can I add more than one text?
Yes. Add as many text layers as you like, each with its own style and timing.
Will my fonts look the same in the export?
Yes. The export draws the text with the same code and fonts as the preview.
